Zenato Amarone Riserva Sergio 2017

Corvina, Rondinella, Sangiovese cuvée by Zenato from Veneto, Italy. Deep ruby red in color. A very concentrated wine, with spicy and dried fruit aromas. Enormously full-bodied with firm but soft tannins followed by a very long finish. Hand picked and selected for top quality, the grapes are dried on straw mats for 4 months before pressing. This is followed by a slow fermentation with peel contact of 30 days. Aged for at least 4 years in Slovenian oak barrels.
