The 2024 Vintage Port from Quinta do Vesuvio represents a classical declaration, clearly set apart from the warmer, riper vintages of the past decade.
 
The year is defined by precision and balance, with Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca performing at a high level, yielding a wine with a pure, tightly defined core of fruit supported by refined yet assertive tannins. Less massive than heat-driven vintages, but with markedly greater definition and tension.
Stylistically, this is quintessential Vesuvio: глубок, structured and driven by extraction from traditional granite lagares, with emphasis on purity and length rather than sheer power.
 
2024 will particularly appeal to those who favour a more classical Douro profile: linear, exact, and built for long-term ageing.
