The Capela represents the absolute pinnacle of Quinta do Vesúvio — assembled from just three micro-terroirs within the estate, including the Vinha da Capela with vines over a century old. Production is limited to 430 cases, less than 1% of the estate's total harvest.
 
2024 marks the first classic Vintage Port declaration in seven years. Head winemaker Charles Symington describes it as "a classic, old-style year" — floral, structured, with dark fruit, ripe tannins and a fine-grained finish of exceptional length.
