Quinta do Noval Vinhas da Marka 2019 Vinhas da Marka 2019 is the first vintage of this wine in Quinta do Noval’s Terroir Series. It comes from a 1.45-hectare parcel of old vines at Quinta da Marka, planted in 1930 and composed of more than 30 traditional Douro grape varieties. The 2019 growing season was notably dry, with a mild winter, very little rainfall from May to August and moderate summer temperatures. The harvest took place on October 3rd after a long, six-week picking period. The resulting wine is deep and powerful, with pronounced complexity, freshness and balance, reflecting the character of this exceptional old-vine parcel.
