All our Nacional bottles were purchased directly from Quinta do Noval as first-hand stock, with known provenance and storage history. No secondary-market bottles, just the reassurance that these rare Vintages have been properly kept and are in excellent condition.

Quinta do Noval Nacional is produced from a tiny parcel of ungrafted, pre-phylloxera vines at the heart of the Quinta do Noval estate. Unlike most vines, these plants grow on their own roots without American rootstock. The parcel is composed of a traditional field blend including Touriga Franca, Tinto Cão, Touriga Nacional, Sousão and Tinta Roriz. The Nacional vineyard has its own character and does not necessarily follow the same pattern as the estate’s regular Vintage Port. The 2022 vintage was marked by extreme heat and drought, yet the old vines produced a wine of remarkable concentration, purity and freshness, with powerful structure and exceptional depth.
