Quinta do Noval 10 Year Old Tawny Port Quinta do Noval 10 Year Old Tawny is a blend of old Ports from different vintages, with an average age of 10 years. The wines are matured in seasoned 640-litre wooden casks, allowing them to develop the characteristic balance between fresh fruit and the nutty, dried-fruit complexity of Tawny Port. Traditional Douro varieties including Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão and Sousão predominate. The Noval 10 Year Old Tawny combines the freshness and fruit of younger Port with the complexity gained through a decade of ageing in wood. The current style shows fresh red fruit alongside hazelnut, dried fruit, caramel, orange peel and spice, with the oak-derived character remaining finely integrated. The result is a rich, smooth and elegant Tawny, with fresh fruit, dried nuts and subtle oxidative complexity, supported by lively acidity and a long, balanced finish.
