Guado al Melo Atis Bolgheri Superiore Jeroboam 300cl 2018

Guado al Melo Atis 2018 is the estate’s flagship wine and a serious expression of Bolgheri Superiore. The wine is based on Cabernet Sauvignon, with a share of Rebo and a small addition of Cabernet Franc. The 2018 vintage in Bolgheri was relatively moderate, resulting in more freshness and precision than in warmer years. Atis combines ripe dark fruit with spice, floral notes and a subtle Mediterranean herbal character. The long ageing in wood is restrained and supportive, enhancing structure without dominating. On the palate it is powerful yet controlled, with ripe tannins, tension and length. This is not a heavy Bolgheri, but an elegant, terroir-driven wine with ageing potential.
