Château de Rayne Vigneau is a Premier Grand Cru Classé estate in Sauternes, situated on one of the appellation’s highest gravel and clay mounds. The vineyard is planted primarily with old-vine Sémillon, complemented by Sauvignon Blanc and a touch of Muscadelle. Grapes are hand-harvested in successive passes to select only perfectly botrytised fruit, and the wine is aged in oak barrels, producing Sauternes with intense sweetness, bright acidity, and remarkable precision and longevity.
