With age, Sauternes transforms from opulent sweetness into profound complexity. Its golden fruit giving way to layers of honey, wax, spice and quiet oxidation. What remains is not richness, but harmony.
 
Château d’Arche is a Deuxième Cru Classé (Second Growth) in the 1855 Sauternes classification. Located on the heights of Sauternes, its vineyards are planted mainly with Sémillon (~90 %) and Sauvignon Blanc (~10 %). Grapes are hand‑harvested in successive passes to select botrytised berries. Vinified and aged traditionally, the wine shows elegant sweetness with notes of honey, citrus, and pastry, balanced by fresh acidity.
