A direct descendant of the original “Castello di Ama Riserva”, this wine marks the return to a Chianti Classico Riserva expression within the estate.
 
First introduced with the 2018 vintage, “Castello di Ama Montebuoni” was created with the intention of combining the depth and structure of the austere “San Lorenzo” with the approachability and drinkability of the youthful “Ama”.
 
The 2021 vintage, here presented in magnum, shows expressive, fruit-driven aromatics and reveals its quality through precision and balance on the palate. For Castello di Ama, “Montebuoni” represents the most honest expression of the elegance of Sangiovese within this unique terroir.
